SIMRANJIT SINGH MANN SHOWS THE WAY TO AAP, DEFEATED NEAREST RIVAL BY 5822 VOTES

In the by-election held on Sangrur Lok Sabha seat, Shiromani Akali Dal (A) candidate Simranjit Singh Mann has secured 708,448 votes and defeated his rival Gurmeet Singh of Aam Aadmi Party by 5822 votes. At the same time, Simranjit Singh Maan defeated Badal, Congress, Bharatiya Janata Party and other rivals.

Police has achieved a major success in busting a racket of cheating by cyber criminals. Their modus operandi is using money through online fraud - hacking, card cloning, skimming etc, using it to purchase goods and selling it immediately to receive handy cash. Further, they tap the elaborate Angadia network to deliver the cash to the destination. Police recovered Rs 35,70,000 cash and Jewellery worth Rs 12,94,796 recovered from them.

CABINET GIVES NOD FOR TABLING THE WHITE PAPER ON THE FINANCES OF THE STATE IN THE CURRENT SESSION OF THE VIDHAN SABHA
The Punjab Cabinet led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Friday gave nod for tabling the White Paper on the Finances of the state in the house during the current session of the Vidhan Sabha.Divulging the details, a spokesperson of the Chief Minister’s Office said that a decision to this effect was taken by the council of Ministers during its meeting chaired by the Chief Minister here at the Punjab Civil Secretariat-I.
REMNANTS OF PINDA GANG IN POLICE NET, 13 SHOOTERS AMONG 19 HELD
After a three-week-long operation, the Jalandhar Rural Police have successfully busted an extortion and arms smuggling racket affiliated to the Pinda Gang with the arrest of all the 13 gang members— all are trained shooters and six others involved in harboring and providing logistic support, said Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Swapan Sharma here on Friday.
