Nowadays Punjabi entertainment industry is going through its golden era. Each week many movies are getting released. But among them there are only few movies which mark their immediate impact on the minds of audiences. One such film is recently released Neeru Bajwa and Amrit Maan starrer ‘Aate Di Chidi’.
The movie has been in news right from its announcement because of the fresh pairing of Neeru Bajwa opposite Amrit Maan. Alongside these two talented artists, the film also has stellar actors like veteran Punjabi actor Sardar Sohi, Gurpreet Ghuggi, BN Sharma, Karamjit Anmol, Nirmal Rishi, Harby Sangha, Nisha Bano, Preeto Sawhney, Balvir Boparai, Dilawar Sidhu, Prakash Gadhu, and Anmol Verma. Aate Di Chidi is a story about Punjab’s issues which will be gently showcased in a humorous way. It promises to be a giggle-fest for the audiences. The movie is helmed by Harry Bhatti and Raju Verma has written the story. The movie has been shot in Punjab and Canada. The entire project is produced by Teg Productions’ Charanjit Singh Walia and Tegbir Singh Walia. GRS Chhina (Calgary, Canada) has co-produced this film.
Tajinder Singh, an excited viewer said, “I enjoyed watching this film a lot. Everything, the story, comedy and emotions were on point. The message of the film is beautifully conveyed. I just want people to go and watch ‘Aate Di Chidi’ with their family.”
Gurpreet Kaur, another viewer outside a multiplex told, “This story is so relatable. We are indeed forgetting our ‘rangla Punjab’ in our quest to go to foreign countries. I have absolutely loved how easily and aptly the story conveys the message that charity begins at home and we all must do our bit to make our motherland beautiful. I loved Neeru Bajwa in the film and Amrit Maan is definitely going to be the next Punjabi superstar.”
At this moment, the leading lady of the film, Neeru Bajwa said, “We are so overwhelmed with the response of the audience. Right now we feel that our hard work has paid off well. ‘Aate Di Chidi’ has been very close to my heart and my own life. So, it definitely feels special to see it entertaining the viewers. The reactions we are receiving are all so motivating. We just want to thank everyone for their immense love and support.”
Starting his acting journey as a lead actor from this film Amrit Maan was quite excited, he said, “Watching yourself on big screen is amazing. I am so thankful to God for blessing me with this opportunity. I am continuously getting messages and love from the audience. Aate Di Chidi was made with honesty and sheer hard work and it feels good that all our efforts are paying off so well.
