Kings XI Punjab is proud to welcome 13 new players to the Lion's Den for the 2019 VIVO Indian Premier League. With seven all-rounders, four bowlers and two wicket keepers, Kings XI Punjab  made all the right bids to bolster the team in Jaipur.

With 10 players already on roster, the players purchased during the IPL Auction were strategically picked to complement the existing players and complete the squad.

Coach Mike Hesson, CEO Satish Menon, Team Analyst Ashish Tuli, High Performance Coach Prasanna Raman and CFO LC Gupta headed the bids from the KXIP table.

A purse of 36.2 crores proved to be enough as 32.5 were spent in strengthening the side with all the skill sets covered; comprising seven all-rounders, four bowlers and two wicket keepers, of which four are overseas players.

Leg-spinner Varun Chakravarthy was the most expensive signing of the lot at 8.4 crores.
