LOVE, EQUALITY AND CELEBRATION A NEW MEANING TO YEAR 2019

New Theatre Regd in association with Department of Culture, Chandigarh Administration and Morning walkers group, sec 68, Mohali is organising it's 5th Annual festival on 31 December 2018 at open auditorium, City Park. 

The event cum festival is entering it's 5th edition and brings together different stratas of society with the message of love, equality and celebration. The event is being prepared by the students of the New Theatre, who rehearse daily and teach students of slum and special children. 

In this winter these people unite at 6:30 am in the morning everyday to rehearse and prepare for this vivacious event... The students work as a team to design and execute the event... The highlights of the event includes meditation, painting and dance performances from every strata of the society... 

The event will showcase dances from Bollywood, Haryana, Goa, Bengal and Punjab... Other important highlights of the event will be the colourful harvest dance by children of slum, a thrilling Bhangra, folk orchestra and lok boliyan. 

The Chief Guest on the festival will be S. Kanwarbir Singh Sidhu Advocate (media coordinator of Punjab youth Congress) S/o S. Barbir Singh Sidhu, (Animal Husbandry; Dairy  Development; Labour, Minister Punjab) along with Distinguished Guests from various walks of life. 

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Peter Sodhi, Director, New Theatre Regd. said, " It is because of the support of residents and our team that we are able to execute this unique initiative. This year we have added new dance forms and I am sure this month long preparation will create a good impact." 

The event is supported by Discover Ability School, Mohali; Free Fragrance Tuition, sec 68; Swaraj Engine and Mittal Investments. 

The show is scheduled from 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm with no entry fees and a complete festive spirit that will ensure a unique farewell to 2018... So if you want to have fun and enjoy your final day of 2018 be a part of this event...
