Chandigarh Police Wushu Team won 05 medals in 8th Chandigarh State Senior WUSHU men women championship held at Punjab University, Chandigarh on 12th & 13th January, 2019.

Our Chandigarh Police WUSHU team participants under Coach Sandeep Singh and manager Bhim Singh participated in 8th Chandigarh State Senior WUSHU men and women championship and performed outstanding. Following is detail of medal winners:

*Shardanand Kundu 6277/IRB - silver medal in below 85 kg*2. Anil Kumar 6132/IRB - silver medal in below 75 kg*
Pooja 1822/cp - silver medal in below 60 kg*Vishal Kumar 4824/cp - bronze medal in below 70 kg*Pooja Kumari 4284/ cp - bronze medal in below 65 kg

Sh. Sanjay Baniwal, IPS, Director General of Police, UT, Chandigarh appreciated the achievements of WUSHU Team in State level competition and congratulated the medal winners and shared the wining moment with them at Police Headquarters, UT, Chandigarh. DSP, Lines Sh. Satish Kumar was also present with the team members.
