Two member committee of BCCI visited Chandigarh and met UT Cricket Association members with regard to giving recognition to UT Cricket Association. Two members of BCCI, Anshuman Gaekwad and Saba Kareem met UT Cricket Association President Sanjay Tandon in this regard.
It was informed that a decision was made in the meeting that the two member committee will be visiting the Cricket Stadiums and various Cricket Academies in the city on Tuesday. According the program, the committee visited Sector 16 Stadium, GMSSS Sector 26, GNPC Sector 36 and Mahajan Cricket Academy in IT Park. Committee saw the youth were being trained in these places in large number.
Sanjay Tandon thanked the BBCI members for their visit and said he expects BCCI to give recognition to UT Cricket association soon. With recognition to UT Cricket Association, the players of the area will get better opportunities to showcase their talent.
