PCANT GROUP UNVEILS NEW LITERARY GEM PENNED BY NAVDEEP SINGH GILL TITLED ‘NAULAKHA BAGH’ IN DALLAS

The Punjabi Cultural Association of North Texas (PCANT) unveiled the new literary gem flowing from the pen of Navdeep Singh Gill titled ‘Naulakha Bagh’ in a glittering ceremony held at Dallas.

The Chairman of PCANT Mr. Kuldeep Singh Dhillon and Former President Mr. Manjit Singh Johal dedicated this new creation to the public amid the presence of the father of the author, Mr. Surjit Singh Gill living in Texas and another close relative Mr. Amritpal Singh Bhangu.

On the occasion, Mr. Dhillon said that it is a moment of great pride for PCANT that a member of the family closely associated with the group has authored his 4th masterpiece at such a young age which proves his whole hearted commitment to the cause of Punjabi Literature. He further divulged that the book contains the life sketches of prominent personalities hailing from Punjabi Literary, Cultural and Journalism such as Ram Sarup Ankhi, Om Prakash Gaso, Prof. Ravinder Bhatthal, Mr. Jagdev Singh Jassowal, Principal Sarwan Singh, Mr. Sidhu Damdami, Mr. Gurbhajan Gill, Mr. Shamsher Sandhu and Mr. Nirmal Jaura.

Airing his views, Mr. Manjit Singh Johal said that the author Navdeep Singh Gill has earlier written 3 books centred on sports and the present one is his 4th book which is wholly associated with the literary domain which is commendable. The father of the author, Mr. Surjit Singh Gill thanked all the august personalities present on the occasion. Among others present included PCANT members Mr. Happy Brar, Mr. Navdeep Dhaliwal and Mr. Mukhtiar Dhaliwal.
