Students from Carmel, Fishers and Zionsville participating in the Mahati Music Academy 2019 Annual Recital in Fishers, Indiana, enthralled the spectators with their pleasing performance on Sunday. Mrs Layla Spanenberg, Dr Sumeeta Bhatia and Mr Shiva Iyer were the guests and they performed the Lamp Lighting ceremony.
Nearly packed house witnessed Invocation Slokam by Anindita Nagajothi, Gowri Aravind and Tejasvi Talikonda. After welcome note by Padmaja Talikonda, the lamp lighting ceremony was perfomed. Sai Pranav Senthil and Aaakash Challa recited Omkaram. Then all Mahati Music Academy students participated in reciting Vinayaka Vinayaka, Mathru Devo Bhaga, Guru Brahma...Gowri Aravind, Aaakash Challa, Nagaanindita Nagajothi, Sai Pranav Senthil and Tejasvi Talikonda participated in Vathapi Ganapathim, composed by Muthu Swami Dikshitar. Thygaraja and Andai Thiruppaval composed Paripalaya and Thirupaval (Pasuram 1) was recited by Akashaya Lingala, Navya Ayitha, Ritu Rajesh and Vedika Jagrala.Then there was a combined show of Indian classical and Western vilon. Anirudh Gopal, Hasini Krihna, Saanvi Nagireddy, Schreekari Gudepati, Smriti Raichintala an Srindhi Kalyani participate in Vara Leela Gana Lola and Sarasanethra which was composed by Thygaraja.

Frances Ecoff and Flory Bosslet performed on Western Violin (Vara Leela Gana Lola) and Irina Povanova (Sarasanethra). The dazzling performance received lot of appreciation.
Meghana Iyer displayed her talent which reciting Thyagraja composed Bantureethi. Abhiram Desaraju, Akshara Kurumandia, Havisha Ramanaji Vegi, Kanishk Krishna, Purvith and Budhavaranm and Shriyansh Subbagari excelled while singing Atmanivasi Ram and Varashiva Balam which was composed by Bhajan and Notu Swaram.
Bhavya H Thakkar, Harishta Tummala and Manasvi Pothuri recited Mayatheeta composed by Muthu Swami Dishitar and Poonaiyah Pillai. Deva Devam Bhaje was recited by Sannitha Bommineni and Tanvi Pothuri. Annamacharya was the composer.
There was a solo performance of reciting Papanasam Sivam composed Mal Maruga by Pranavi Tadikonda. Other events featured during the two-hour program were recital of Harihara Vinutha (Akshada Nalimanchu, Srinithya Basireddy and Tanishqa Yenti), Ramabhadra Raa Raa (Anushka Arivkkarsu, Manaswini Atla, Sai Anwitha Mungi, Shanmukha Polu, Sruisha Gudepate and Ved Gadkari), Shree Rama Shree Rama ( Akhila Mandava, Hansini Buddha and Reva Paddi) and Saraswathi Namostute (Ananya Tadikonda, Kirtee Ayitha and Rithika Jagarla).
Curtain came down after all Mahati Music Academy students reciting Garudagamana and Nama Parvathi).The entire event was witnessed by audience from all age groups with total silence.
The organizers offered special thanks to volunteers who did a good job in organising and executiion of the MMA Annual Recital. Anupama Dharamavaram, Pooja Thakur,Anusha Reddy, Priya Ayyanan, Getha Bommineni, Ragini Cherukrui, Geetha Ganthi, Ranjitha Buddha, Haritha Desaraju, Sandhya Chavali, Harishith Thakkar, Saranya Ramachandran, Lakshi Ganesan, Sharath Gopal, Madhvi Peddi,Uma Ayitha, Meena Kalagara, Irina Povanova, Pavithra Sathyamurthy and Doglas Wishman and Jien Lee contributed as volunteers.
