PUNJAB BORN MISS INDIA WORLDWIDE SHREE SAINI COLLECTED $150,000 TO HELP CHILDREN, THANKS DONORS

In the glamorous presence of Punjab-born Miss India Worldwide Shree Saini philanthropists collectively raised $150,000 to help children and communities become self-sufficient.

GOOD CAUSE

Shree Saini said the donations will go to fund six major projects, supporting thousands of children and communities become self-sustainable. Children, Rights and You and believes ensuring child-rights is the most sustainable solution to the myriad social, economic and political issues confronting India. Sustainable change at the level of the community is only possible when communities themselves develop and implement solutions, cooperatively.

Konkona Sen Sharma, Indian actress, writer and director who has received two National Film Awards and four Filmfare Awards and is respected as an icon for social movies and initiatives was specially present at the CRY - Child Rights and You Fundraiser “CRY Uphaar” in Seattle USA.

Shree thanked the donors for having big hearts for service project. She also thanked Sachin Kumar Jain for inspiring the organisers besides Rajneesh Grover, Anjna Grover, Manisha Malhotra, Neelu Rajvanshi, Deepika Singh, Sangeeta Mudnal, Paresh Mundade, Sakshi Sagoria, Preeti Shridhar, Ekta Saini all volunteers who were the heart and soul of CRY as they spent months planning and executing the fundraiser.

She said, I am grateful also to Dharmatma Saran and Neelam Saran, power couple of Miss India USA and Miss India Worldwide for the opportunities they provided. Shree also thanked Smita Puthran for making beautiful artwork, with a Jewelled crown on her name.
