Theteam of STF, Crime Branch has been successful in locating and effecting thearrest of two “marijuana” suppliers namely(1). Sube Singh, R/o Ballabhgarh (HR) Age-31 years, (2). Deepak, R/o CanalColony, Okhla, Delhi, age- 34 yrs and total 510 kg marijuana which was in 17 bags were recovered, out of which, 14bags of marijuana was kept in the special cavity made in the truck and 2bags of marijuana were kept in Swift Car and 1 bag of marijuana was carried byboth the accused persons, when the accused persons were transferring the bagsof marijuana from truck to swift car. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No.210/19, u/s 20/25 NDPS, Act PS Crime Branch has been registered.


Dr. G. RamGopal Naik, Dy Commissioner of Police,  CrimeBranch, STARS & STF said On 18/07/19, ASI Vijay Kumar received acredible information in STF/Crime Branch that an interstate racked involved insupplying of “marijuana” from Orissa& Andhra Pradesh to Delhi & NCR, would come near Tugalkabad Village todeliver a huge quantity of “marijuana” ina Haryana number truck with a special cache/cavity made in it to hide thecontraband and specifically used for this purpose only.

 On this information, a team led by Insp.Digvijay Singh consisting of SIs Rajeev Bamal, Ashok Kumar, ASIs Vijay Hudda, KuldeepSingh, Veer Singh, Tehjeeb Haider, Tek Chand, Shiv Vir, HC Vijay Kumar andConst’s, Pyar Singh, Viay Pal, Sonu Kumar and Shashi Kant under the supervisionof Sh. Pankaj Singh ACP/STF Crime Branch was formed to nab the contrabandsupplier gang. When the team spotted and located the truck, the accused personswere transferring the bags of marijuana from truck to swift desire car. Boththe accused persons namely Sube Singh and Deepak were apprehended and total 17bags containing total of 510 kg“marijuana” was recovered from their possession.  As per the accused persons the specialcavity/cache was made in the truck to hide the contraband for the purpose ofescaping from the Police.  


 Duringinterrogation, it is revealed that both accused are previously involved in NDPSCases.  Accused Sube Singh is on bail ina NDPS Case of Faridabad. He was convicted in this case.  Accused Sube Singh is a Proclaimed Offenderin another NDPS Case of Faridabad. Beside these cases, he is also involved inthree more NDPS Cases.  Accused Deepak isalso on bail in two NDPS Cases of UP.

 AccusedSube Singh and Deepak are partners and work for one Dinesh Pal.  Sube Singh and Dinesh Pal regularly go toOrissa and Andhra Pradesh by flight. They bring the contraband from Paidawalasaa place near Orissa and Andra Pradesh border. They arrange a truck having special cavity and load the contraband in it.  If the vehicle is checked, at a check post orpicket, the contraband is not found visible. The accused persons purchase the contraband from Orissa and AndraPradesh border at a very cheap rate and sell the same at higher prices. Asper the above facts both the accused persons are regularly engaged in supplyingof drugs.


Accused Sube Singh, R/o Ballabhgarh (HR), Age-31 years is educated upto 10thclass. In 2011, he was booked in a cheating case of P.S. Paschim Vihar, Delhi.Thereafter, in 2013, he again booked in a case of supplying Marijuana of P.S. OldFaridabad, Haryana. In this case, he was sentenced for 10 years and after that,he was bailed out.  Thereafter, in 2018,he was booked at Dankaur Police Station (UP) for supplying Charas and in thiscase, he is on court bail. It has also been disclosed that he is a Proclaimed Offenderin a case of NDPS Act from a court of Faridabad, Haryana. 

.Accused Deepak, R/o Okhla, Delhi Age-34 years studied upto 8th class.From the last 3 years, he came in contact with drug suppliers.  In 2012, he booked for supplying of Marijuanaat P.S. Sohnbhadra, Mirzapur, UP. In 2015, he was again booked for supplyingMarijuana at Noida, UP. Presently, he is on court bail in both the cases.

.RECOVERY:- 510 KG Marijuana,  One Truck having the specialcavity/cache.,  One Swift Dezire Car for supplying/ transportationof Marijuana in Delhi & NCR.
