The Indian Army, as part of Sadbhavana Project, conducted week-long tour for locals from Samote, Kotranka,  dhal,
Chasana and adjoining areas (Jammu & Kashmir) to Amritsar, Wagah Border, Delhi and Ajmer.

The tour at Ajmer was conducted by Meiktila Gunners under the aegis of Battle Axe Division. The tour was based on the theme “Ek Kadam Aman Ki Aur” and the team visited various places of religious and educational interest,  hereby giving them an exposure to the outside world of opportunities and the diversity that binds India from Kashmir to Kanya Kumari.

The group of Multi Religion – Religious Teachers reached Ajmer from Jammu & Kashmir and visited various educational institutes like Rashtriya Military School and Mayo College. Next day they visited the Holy Shrine of Hazrat Moinuddin Chishti Dargah and Pushkar where they paid their obeisance and thereafter did sightseeing at Lake Anna Sagar.

The Multi Religion – Religious Teachers at Ajmer interacted with  Colonel Yodhvir Singh Lehl, Commanding Officer of the Meiktila Regiment and shared their experiences during the Capacity Building Tour.

The participants today departed in high spirits with a sense of gratitude for the Indian Army for giving them an opportunity to see the world in such an organised and well planned manner.
