The trend of high growth in the State GST revenue of Haryana continues for the fifth month in a row in the current financial year. The State GST revenue has recorded a growth rate of 33.5 per cent in November, 2019 over the corresponding month of the previous financial year.

While stating this here today, a spokesman of Excise and Taxation Department said that the overall growth of the State in the last five months of the current financial year in State GST is 31.15 per cent over the corresponding five months of the previous financial year.

He said that the State has also recorded a high jump in the collections under all the Acts of the GST in the month of November, 2019. The overall collection under all Acts of GST from the State stood at Rs. 5904.56 crore in the month of November, 2019 against collection of Rs. 4678.53 crore in November, 2018 recording a growth of 26.2 per cent. The growth rate of 26.2 per cent of the State under all Acts of GST is against a national growth rate of 5.9 per cent in November 2019.

He said that the return compliance of the State of the return filing month of November was 78.13 per cent up to November 30, 2019 against the national percentage of 74.17 per cent.
