Chandigarh Lawn Tennis Association will host the ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors (Grade-3) for boys and girls under-18 years from January 6 to 11 at the Sector 10 Tennis Stadium here .

The qualifying matches will be played on January 4 and 5. Top players from 19 countries, including India, are participating in the tournament. These countries are Switzerland, Taipei, China, Belgium, France, Israel, Japan, Kazakhstan, Thailand, Syria, Malaysia, Vanuatu, United State of America, Italy, Great Britain, New Caledonia, Korea, Ukraine and India.

The main draw for each of the two events for boys and girls consists of 32 players, of which 24 secure their entry as per their ITF ranking, 4 from among the qualifiers in the qualifying matches, and 4 would be given wild cards.

All matches will be played on synthetic courts from 9.30 a.m. onwards.
