UK LABOUR PARTY APPOINTS PARLIAMENTARIAN DHESI AS SHADOW RAILWAY MINISTER

PUNJABI CULTURAL COUNCIL CONGRATULATES DHESI ON HIS NOMINATION

British Labor party has nominated the first Sikh Parliament member from Slough Tanmanjit Singh Dhesi as shadow Railway Minister.

This appointment has been announced by UK main opposition leader of the party Sir Ker Stamar.

It is worth mentioning that Dhesi has already played an important role in the ongoing campaign to commence rail services between Slough and  Heathrow Airport.

On this nomination Dhesi thanked the Labour leader Starm and assured that he would carry out this responsibility wholeheartedly and would serve of the common people more vigorously.

Punjabi Cultural Council Chairman Harjeet Singh Grewal, State Awardee, has congratulated Dhesi on his appointment and said that being a first Sikh Parliamentarian in the Europe Dhesi has raised the issues of minorities in the British Parliament and admonished the Prime Minister Boris Johnson.  On the this issues minorities residing in different parts of the world have praised Dhesi. 

 
His father and prominent Businessman from Britain Jaspal Singh Dhesi and Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee member Paramjit Singh Raipur has greeted Tanmanjit Singh on his appointment.

Grewal said that Tanmanjit Singh Dhesi has always done exemplary work by raising public issues and served the people of his constituency as MP. In view of Dhesi's pro-people activities, Labour Party has nominated him as a shadow minister and Punjabis living across the globe are immensely happy.
