  Abohar: Darshan at many BAPS Mandirs in India will be open to the public from June 17, from 8am to 11am and 4pm to 6pm every day.

A spokesman said that devotees have been told that there will be restrictions, and rules such as social distancing will need to be  followed in the interest of health and public safety. A detailed list of the restrictions has been sent to volunteers and devotees.

Only darshan is allowed– there will be no arrangements for meals or stay at any mandir. Bookstalls and donation office shall remain closed.

Senior persons, those with co-morbidity (diseases related to heart, lungs, diabetes etc.), pregnant women and children below 10 years of age have been advised to not to visit for darshan.

The spokesman further clarified that not all Mandirs will be reopened on June 17- devotees should contact their local mandirs for further information or clarification. Akshardham Gandhinagar and Akshardham New Delhi shall remain closed.
