AVDHESH KANAUJIYA FROM IGNOU WINS THE SHORT STORY WRITING COMPETITION AT PANJAB UNIVERSITY

 As a part of ongoing celebration of the Premchand Jayanti, Dept of Hindi, Panjab University organized a webinar. Prof. Raj Kumar, Vice Chancellor, Panjab University was the chief guest and announced the winners of Short Story writing competition.

Dr. Gurmeet Singh,Chairperson, Dept of Hindi informed that more than 52 entries from different Universities were recived for this competition. The winners of the contest were announced today.

Avdhesh Kumar from IGNOU, New Delhi won the first prize for his story " kash samdhi ji zinda hote". He has been awarded a prize of Rs 2000. Sunny Siroha from Guru Jambheshwar University, Hisar was adjudged second for his story "Dada Nahi Aaya". He won a prize of Rs 1500 .

Priyanshu from Dept of Evening Studies, Panjab University was awarded third prize and Rs 1000 for his story, " vipatti ki sampatti'. All the participants were given online participation certificates.
