In protest against the three agriculture amendment bills of the central government, a huge tractor was organized on Thursday..

The rally led by PPCC president Sunil Jakhar’s nephew and former District Youth Congress president Sandeep Jakhar started at 9 am from native village Panjkosi and covered 15-km distance in about four hours to convert the same into a public meeting in the new grain market here.

The participants carried placards and banners and shouted slogans against the “Black-laws” and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Sandeep Jakhar termed the bills as anti-farmer, conspiracy to abolish the minimum support price for the produce. The claims made by the central government that the minimum support price will be ensured as farce and said no such guarantee has been made in the law. Through the said laws, Prime Minister Modi was enslaving the farmers to the capitalists, he added.
