SHOT IN AAP'S ARM AS CONGRESS STALWART JASWINDER SINGH JOINS THE PARTY

MORE EXPECTED TO JOIN PARTY FOLD IN NEAR FUTURE: BHAGWANT MANN

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab got shot in the arm on Tuesday when state president and MP Bhagwant Mann, MLA and in charge, Punjab affairs, Jarnail Singh (MLA) and Leader of Opposition Harpal Singh Cheema formally inducted, a prominent leader of the Congress party, Jaswinder Singh into the party fold.

State General Secretary Harchand Singh Bursat and State Treasurer Nina Mittal were also present on the occasion.
Jaswinder Singh Rangareta Ramdas, who joined the party, said on the occasion that he hailed from Attari area under Amritsar district and was joining the AAP on his own volition. He added that he had served the state as an Additional Commissioner, before joining the Congress Party. A former executive member of the Punjab Congress Committee and former vice-president of farmers and labour wings of the party (Punjab Congress), had performed his assigned duties with utmost dedication and to the entire satisfaction of the party’s top leadership.

Bhagwant Mann on the occasion said that more eminent personalities from all walks of life were expected to join the Aam Aadmi Party in the near future, who wanted to see Punjab a prosperous state again? Mann said said that the new member Jaswinder Singh would be accorded due respect and honour in the party.
