UT ADMIN TAKES COGNIZANCE OF THE ISSUE OF EX-SERVICEMEN WORKING WITH THE FOREST DEPT

Senior leader incharge of Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh Badri Prasad Kaushik, has informed that a letter was sent to Punjab Governor and Administrator VP Singh Badnore by Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, Chandigarh, and other allied employees' associations like the All Contractual Employees Union, Chandigarh. The missive was written to raise the issue of problems being faced by ex-servicemen employees working as guards and forest guards in the forest department.

Kaushik said, "The Administrator, UT has taken the cognizance of the issue of ex-servicemen and instructed the senior officers of the administration to take complete and appropriate action on this subject."

With this, a ray of hope among ex-servicemen working with the forest department has emerged.

Vipin Sher Singh, Chairman of the All Contractual Employees Union, thanked all the employee organizations and the Chandigarh administration and demanded that a policy should be introduced for the job security of contractual and outsourced employees working in Chandigarh so that all employees and their families can get justice.
