SIDHU INAUGURATES STUDENT INDUCTION PROGRAM OF PML SD BUSINESS SCHOOL

Mr. K.B.S. Sidhu, IAS, Special Chief Secretary, Punjab and Director General, Mahatma Gandhi Punjab State Institute of Public Administration, Chandigarh today inaugurated online Student Induction Program of 1st Batch (2020-22) of AICTE approved PGDM Course of PML SD Business School, Chandigarh.

On this event, Shri Upkar Krishan Sharma, President of the GGD SD College Society and also President of Board of Governors of PML SD Business School shared with the students about what was amiss in the education system earlier; and what PML SD Business School is offering to overcome this.

Complimenting the students of the first batch, for having secured admission in PGDM of the Business School promoted by GGD SD College, Mr. Sidhu spoke about how leadership and management are interlinked and overlapped. He discussed about what leadership entails and the opportunities presented. The need for innovation, ethical dilemmas and choices an individual needs to take were shared by Shri with the students at length. He narrated various quotes from Holy Bhagavad Gita to inspire and motivate the students to be value based and ethical management professionals of tomorrow.

Prof S.C. Vaidya, former DUI and also former Dean, Management as well as Chairman UBS, Panjab University; and Prof S.K. Sharma Professor Emeritus, former DUI and founder Director, Energy Research Centre, Panjab University and Dr. KL Dhingra, former Chairman & Managing Director, HUDCO and also former Chairman & Managing Director, ITI Ltd. and currently Director of PML SD Business School were the other speakers.

Complimenting the Management of SD College, for opening Girls College in Gurdaspur and also in Fatehgarh Churian, small town in the Distt of Gurdaspur, Shri Sidhu showered praises for its endeavours for the upliftment of the girls in the backward and border towns.
