ALL INDIA KARATE CHAMPIONSHIP: CHANDIGARH BOYS AND GIRLS TEAM WINS THIRD POSITION WITH 8 GOLD AND 3 BROWNS MEDALS

In the 36th All India Karate Championship, the boys ' girls team from Chandigarh secured over all third position with 8 gold and 3 browns medals in 29-30 December 2020 from Faridabad district of Haryana. 

Shri Pankaj Sharma, Joint Secretary, (Karate Association of India) & President (Amateur Karate Association of Chandigarh) was present at the Championship to enhance the encouragement of sportspersons of Chandigarh.  Team coach Varinder Kumar and team manager Ashwani Sharma represented the Chandigarh Karate team. 

In this Championship, the players got a place in their weight category, Kanishka Gold, target gold, Dhanika gold, Angel gold, Vaibhav gold, Anubha gold, Tanisha gold, Sahil Kumar gold, Mangal Singh in Bronze, Raghav Grover bronze, and Savita Devi won the Bronze medal and raised the pride of Chandigarh.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri Pankaj Sharma congratulated the cochrans and parents of all the winning sportspersons.
