PPCC CHIEF JAKHAR HOLDS MEETING AHEAD OF CM’S VISIT

Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee President Sunil Jakhar held a meeting with party workersat the residence of Punjab Swarnakar Sangh vice president Varinder Soni here today.

He said that Punjab Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh will visit Abohar on January 12. On the occasion he would lay the foundation stone of a dozen development projects in the Abohar constituency. Government College at Abohar and Veterinary Hospital and Research Center at Sappanwali besides fish seed farm was being set up at Killianwali village near Abohar.

Jakhar said that Punjab government has drawn a comprehensive blueprint for the development of the area. Under this the projects to be launched on January 12 would change the face of Abohar. He also invited people of the area to attend the function to be held at Canal Colony on Tuesday at 10 am.

He also listened to the grievances of the workers and said that they were the backbone of the party, Congress was proud of you all, all problems would be effectively solved, he added.
