PPCC CHIEF LAMBASTS SAD, AAP LEADERS FOR TARGETING PUNJAB CM

FOUNDATION STONES OF PROJECTS WORTH RS 202 CRORE LAID IN ABOHAR

PPCC President Sunil Jakhar, ex-MP today said that with Gurus’ grace we Punjabis are fitted with an engine which has no back gear. "Once we start marching ahead there is no looking back," he said.

The rally was also addressed by Finance Minister Manpreet Badal, PWD Minister Vijay Inder Singla and District Youth Congress ex-president Sandeep Jakhar.

The state Congress chief said that he is thankful to the Chief Minister of Punjab Captain Amarinder Singh for releasing the huge amount for the overall development of Abohar city and adjoining areas. Apart from these major developmental projects, the government also plans to rebuild Abohar Bus Stand.

*Finance Minister Manpreet Badal said that there is no dearth of funds for overall development of Punjab and especially for Abohar. He gave the credit to Jakhar for bringing major developmental projects here.-PWD Minister Vijay Inder Singla said that the students studying in government schools of Punjab are now not behind the private schools in any manner. "Apart from studies the students of government schools are also giving a tough competition to the private schools," Singla said. He stated that new recruitment will be done after formation of new education policy. 

He also termed the ongoing farmer agitation in Delhi as a 'March-Moving-Ahead and said that now there is no looking back for the farmers. He lashed out at SAD and AAP top brass for targeting Captain Amarinder Singh instead of taking the BJP for stubborn attitude towards farmers movement and said these opposition parties were there only to harm vote bank of Congress that had emerged more stronger.

Sandeep Jakhar said that this is just a new beginning for Abohar as after the completion of this project many more are in the offing. He urged Abohar residents to extend every possible help for the ongoing sanitation program launched with the help of area residents in Abohar.

All those present observed two minute silence in memory of the farmers who lost their lives while fighting for their rights at Delhi border.

Among others who were also present on the occasion were Additional Chief Secretary Animal Husbandry V. K. Janjua, Director General School Education Mohammad Tayyab, Director Animal Husbandry Deputy Commissioner Arvindpal Singh Sandhu, SSP Harjeet Singh and ADC (G) cum Commissioner Abohar Corporation Abhijeet Kaplish.

MLA Jalalabad Raminder Singh Amla, MLA Balluana Nathu Ram, MLA Fazilka Davinder Singh Ghubaya, Chairman Tubewell Corporation Jagbir Brar, Ex-MP Sher Singh Ghubaya were also present.
