CHANDIGARH KOTHI GRABBING CASE: REMANDED OF SCRIBE SANJIV MAHAJAN , ACCOMPLICE EXTENDED TO FOUR DAYS

DISTRICT JUDGE ALSO REMANDED FOUR DAY POLICE CUSTODY TO BROTHER OF  PRESENT DSP RAM GOPAL

Police on Friday produced two accused of land grabbing case including one scribe Sanjiv Mahajan and his accomplice before the District Judge , where both of them remanded four days police custody till March 9.   Police had produced them after completing of police remand of 3 days.

Both the accused, including others were charged of kidnapping the owner of the valuable house No. 340 in Sector 37A, Chandigarh Rahul Mehta and selling to some other impersonating as owner Rahul Mehta, who had been sent to an Ashram of Bhuj (Gujrat). 

On the request of the Chandigarh Police the Distt. Judge remanded them to four days custody.

Moreover the the accused Satpal Dagar, the brother of working DSP Ram Gopal , who had been arrested yesterday also produced before thew Distt. Judge, who remanded  the police custody for four days for further interrogation.

The property of all three three accused being searched by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) led by Shruti Arora ASP. The role of accused brother DSP Ram Gopal also under lense.  The other influential accused liquor borne Arvind Singla and others still at large.
