Defending champions Chandigarh Tribune lifted the inter-media five-a-side football tournament for the fourth time in a row on Saturday. In the final, they defeated Chandigarh Press Club team ‘A’ 4-3.
After the match was tied goal less after the stipulated time, the Chandigarh Tribune won it in a tie-breaker.
Mr. Saurabh Duggal, Secretary General of the club, said, in the semi-final, Chandigarh Tribune defeated Chandigarh Press Club team ‘B’ by 4-0.
The members of the Chandigarh Tribune were: Deepankar Sharda, Sandeep Rana, Surinder Rawal Gurjant Sandhu, Amit Sharma and Sunil Kapoor.
