The two-day event was organised by the Punjab-Haryana-Chandigarh Sports Journalist Association in collaboration with Chandigarh Badminton Association and Chandigarh Sports Department.

Kuldeep Singh, Kulbhushan Ahuja, Manmohan Singh and Richa Seghal won the singles’ titles in their respective categories in the second edition of Kuldeep Panwar Memorial Inter Media Badminton Tournament held at Sector 38 West Sports Complex on Sunday.

Mr. Saurabh Duggal, Secretary General, said, over 50 journalists from various media verticals participated in the tournament. Haryana speaker Gian Chand Gupta was the chief guest, while UT Director Sports Teejdeep Saini was the guest of honour.

Results: 

Men’s singles: 1. Kuldeep Singh, 2. Deepankar Sharda, 3. Saurabh Duggal and Satish Kumar. 

Men’s 45+ singles: 1. Kulbhushan Ahuja, 2. Kailash Nath, 3. Ramesh Handa and Inderpal Singh.

Men’s 60+ singles: 1. Manmohan Singh, 2. Charanjit Ahuja, 3. Parvesh Chauhan.

Women’s singles: 1. Richa Seghal, 2. Veena Ahuja, 3. Harpreet Kaur and Mona.

Men’s Doubles: 1. Kuldeep Singh and Saurabh Duggal; 2. Gaurav Marwaha and Satish Kumar; 3.Kailash Nath and Inderpreet Singh and 3. Kulbhushan Ahuja and Ramesh Handa.

Women’s Doubles: 1. Richa Seghal and Charanjeet Kaur, 2. Usha Singh and Veena Ahuja.

Mixed Doubles: 1. Gaurav Marwaha and Richa Seghal; 2. Deepnakar Sharda and Mona; 3. Charanjit Ahuja and Veena Ahuja; 3. Mansa Ram Rawat and Charajeet Kaur.
