CHANDIGARH KOTHI GRABBING CASE: SESSION COURT DENIES BAIL TO ABSCONDING SAURABH GUPTA

Session Court on Thursday refused to grant bail to the Saurabh Gupta in a Sector 37 Kothi grabbing case. He is absconding since an FIR was lodged against him and scribe Sanjiv Mahajan. His brother Manish who was arrested with Sanjeev Mahajan and landed in Burail Jail in judicial custody. T

he decision of bail plea of Mahajan most probably will be pronounced on March 26.

Additional District Judge Poonam R on Thursday dismissed the anticipatory bail plea of the accused Saurabh Gupta. Saurabh Gupta got the execution of Sale Deed of the Kothi No. 340 through fake Rahul Mehta.

The decision of bail plea of Sanjeev Mahajan is still pending. Morover the decision of another co accused Manish Gupta brother of Saurabh Gupta will come up to March 31.

Saurabh Gupta had pleaded that he himself is sufferer as he was not aware about the kothi in question. He bought the kothi in 2.90 crores.

Meanwhile Chandigarh Police continue raiding to nab liquor borne Arvind Singla, but he is still at large. Moreover the fake Rahul Mehta still not traced.
