INDIAN ROWING PAIR ARJUN LAL JAT AND ARVIND SINGH QUALIFY FOR TOKYO OLMYPICS 2021 IN LIGHT WEIGHT DOUBLE SCULL

Chandigarh Rowing Association's (RWA) Secretary Advocate Rajiv Sharma, said this was a proud moment for the rowing freternity and for the entire country that our Indian rowing pair finished second by clocking 6.36.92 in a light weight double scull event and qualify for Tokyo Olympics 2021 in the Asia and Oceania Olympic and Paralympic qualification regatta held from 5th to 7th May 2021 at Tokyo's Sea forest waterways.

President of CRA Dr. Anmol Rattan Sidhu Sr. Advocate while sending telephonic congratulatory message to the team and National coaches Mr Ismail Begh and Dalvir Singh both Arjuna Awardees in Japan said that we all are very happy and proud and expect that the team will do well in Olympics.

Major DP Singh Sr. Vice President and Mr Surinder Chaudhary treasurer of CRA have congratulated the team and coaches and President of RFI Mrs Raj Laxmi Singh Deo and said the entire credits goes to her and her secretary General MV Sriram as both of them have done so much efforts and took so much pain in sending the team and she despite being recovering from covid 19 .
