HARYANA EXTENDS LOCKDOWN WITH NEW NAME SURAKSHIT HARYANA, TILL MAY 17, NO BAND BAJA AUR BARAT

Haryana Govt. extended the lock down period till May 17 at 5 PM. This was disclosed by Mr. Anil  Vij in his tweet saying that "Mahamari Alert / Surkshit Haryana announced from 10 May to 17 May Stringent measures will be taken to contain spread of Corona in Haryana."

In the new guidlines there will be allowed only 11 persons in wedding and funeral ceremony. The wedding ceremony allowed at home only and no 'Barat' will be allowed.   

On extending the lockdown period, Sh. Anil Vij , Minister of Home and Health, said that 'Mahamari Alert, Surakshit Haryana' has been declared for one week. A few rules have been added to the guidelines imposed earlier during the first lockdown. Under this, there will be a ban on gathering of 11 persons at one place and only 11 persons will be allowed to attend wedding and funeral. Besides this, no procession and wedding baraat can be taken out.

The Home Minister said that COVID patients of BPL families are being given Rs 5,000 directly to their account during home isolation, as during lockdown these BPL families are not able to work and due to COVID these families will also be in home isolation. Thus, to ensure that these families do not face any financial problems it has been announced to give them Rs. 5,000. Sh. Vij informed that Chandigarh Administrator, Sh. V.P. Badnore had expressed gratitude to the Haryana Government for giving 3 MT oxygen to Chandigarh PGI for which he said that the pandemic situation is to be fought together.

Sh. Vij informed that Chandigarh Administrator, Sh. V.P. Badnore had expressed gratitude to the Haryana Government for giving 3 MT oxygen to Chandigarh PGI for which he said that the pandemic situation is to be fought together. He said that a large number of Delhi patients are undergoing treatment in the state of Haryana and every patient is being given treatment impartially. Also, the state has recruited doctors, nurses or other Corona warriors for treating patients. He said that they were doing good work and it should be brought to the notice of the society. He elaborated that the corona warriors also have families and are working very responsible at the moment.
