KOMAL SINGH OF RAJPURA WON THE GOLD MEDAL IN THE NATIONAL SIKH GAMES 2021

The players of the Budo Kai Do Mixed Martial Arts Federation of India participated in the National Sikh Games 2021 held at Talkatora Indoor Stadium, Thyagraj Stadium, Siri Fort Sports Complex, also known as Commonwealth Games Villages Sports Complex in New Delhi between 6th April to 11th April, 2021. The Budo Kai Do players performed very well in the competition and won 25 Gold, 34 Silver and 24 Bronze medals.

Komal Singh of Rajpura also won the gold medal in the championship held in Belgrade, Serbia and now

Won the gold medal won in the National Sikh Games 2021 and enhanced the pride of Punjab and also expressed confidence of bringing gold to the international level in future.

The National Sikh Games were organized by Jap Jaap Sewa Trust in association with Budo Kai Do Mixed Martial Arts Federation of India. Participating states included Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Chandigarh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pardesh and Uttar Pradesh.

Sr Sharanjeet Singh (President) Budo Kai Do Mixed Martial Arts Federation of India, said, “We are happy that our players performed well. It was a memorable tourname . We followed all the instructions in connection with the ongoing Covid19 epidemic. Players were given online training before participating in the games. I am proud of the fact that our players are taking part in various national and international tournaments.”

The Best players announced of Budo Kai Do were Jobanpreet, Gurswek Singh, Ekamver Singh, Lovepreet Singh, Balraj Singh, Sunderpreet, Khyati Sharma and Sukhsimran Dhiman.

He thanked Sr. Satnam Singh (organizer) and the Jap Jaap Sewa Trust for providing the Budo Kai Do players a national platform.

A preparation camp was organized before the tournament, where more than 200 players were given important tips, Karate uniforms and kits. After the belt test, the players were provided different belts. Kawaljeet Singh Dhindsa and Sharanjeet Singh (president) introduced the team at the games.
