The Punjab State Inter District T20 Tournaments for Senior Team is being played in full swing at different District Headquarters at Punjab. 8 Matches were scheduled for today, However, Match between Barnala and Sangrur was washed out due to heavy rain.

Patiala beat Bathinda by 10 wickets

The first match inter district T-20 tournament for senior played between Patiala vs Bathinda played at Dhruv Pandove stadium, Patiala. Patiala won the toss and opted to bowl first. Batting first Bathinda scored 102 for 6 in 20 overs. Uday Partap Saharan 39 of 47 balls (2 X6) and Kamaljit Singh 20 of 37 balls (1 X4) (1X6) were the top run scorers for Bathinda. Paras Jaidka 2 for 17 and Sanvir Singh 2 for 6 were the highest wicket takers for Patiala. In reply Patiala got their target in just 9.2 overs without loss of any wicket. Prabhsimran 85 off 35 balls (7X4) (7X6) and Jiwnajot Singh 17 of 21 balls (2X4) remain unbeaten. With this win Patiala got 4 points while Bathinda got 0. Patiala is currently on number one Position in the pool A with 12 points.

Nawanshahar beat Gurdaspur by 49 runs

The 2nd match of inter district T-20 tournament for senior played at RK Arya college, Nawanshahar. Nawanshahar won the toss and opted to bat first. Nawanshahar scored112 for 7 in 20 overs. Sunny Verma 36 of 22 balls (3X4) (1X6) and Jatin 28 off 35 balls (1X4) (2X6) were highest run getters for Nawanhshahar. Abhishek 2 for 23 and Lovkesh Sharma 2 for 26 were main wicket takers for Gurdaspur. In reply Gurdaspur bundled out for 63 in 18.2 overs. Sukhjeet Singh 23 off 25 balls (2X4)(1X6) was the only highest run getter for Gurdaspur. For Nawanshahar Mohit Dhir 4 for 9 and Jatinder Vashisht 3 for 12 were the highest wicket takers for Nawanshahr. Nawanshahar got 4 points while Gurdaspur got 0.

Ferozpur beat Fazilka by 29 runs

  The 3rd match of inter district T-20 tournament for senior played at Polytechnic college, Ferozepur. Ferozpur won the toss and choose to bat first. Batting first Ferozepur scored 119 for all in 19.3 overs. Gurjeet 29 off 28 balls (2X4) (2X6) and Bhagwant Makhu 21 off 24 balls (2X4) were the main run getters for Ferozepur. Upkarbeer 3 for 14, Davinder Kumar 2 for 24 and Sohit Choudhary 2 for 19 were the highest wicket takers for Fazilka. Replying Fazilka bundled out for 90 in 19.1 overs.
