DELHI POLICE TRACED DELHITE GIRLS FROM AMRITSAR , CHILD FROM PATNA PETROL PUMP

STAFF OF PS SARITA VIHAR TRACED DELHITE MISSING GIRLS FROM AMRITSAR FOR SERVING THE MOTIVE OF “OPERATION MILAP”

Delhi Police reported to have recovered  two missing girls from Amritsar and one child from Patna under Operation MILAP.

Keeping in view the surge in cases of missing children, a dedicated team comprising ASI Satendra, ASI Layak Ali, W/HC Reena, Ct. Manish, Ct. Sajjan and Ct. Manoj led by SHO/ Sarita Vihar traced two missing girls and re-united them with their family. 

On 19.07.2021, a complaint was received at PS Sarita Vihar regarding missing of two girls of age 15yrs and 17yrs respectively. Accordingly, a case FIR No 264/2021 U/s 363 IPC was lodged at PS Sarita Vihar and search of the missing girls was taken up.

As per the directions of senior officers for tracing the missing/ kidnapped children for noble cause, the team operated the task meticulously. The team involved secret informers in operating the task. CCTV footages of nearby installed cameras were analyzed and mobile numbers of missing girls were put on surveillance.

Mr. R. P. MEENA, IPS, DCP, South East Distt., said, the  information of missing girls was shared inter-state via ZIP Net and WT message. Contact numbers of several suspected persons were also monitored. Ultimately, with the assistance of Google mapping and ZIP Net, the team located the mobile number of a missing girl near Srinagar airport.The team rushed to the spot.

Meantime, their location was changed to Amritsar, Punjab. Immediately, the team detoured to the later location. The hard work of the team yielded fruitful results. After making its best efforts, the team succeeded in tracing the girls safely from Amritsar, Punjab.

On examining, the girls disclosed that they left their native place due to poor background and went to Srinagar and then to Amritsar in search of private jobs. The team of PS Sarita Vihar under selfless operation not only resulted into family reunions but also fulfilled the motive of “OPERATION MILAP”.

Meanwhile Delhi Police traced missing child from a petrol pump in Patna after nine months. 

Mr. R. P. MEENA, IPS, DCP, South East Distt., said, the  information of missing girls was shared inter-state via ZIP Net and WT message. Contact numbers of several suspected persons were also monitored. Ultimately, with the assistance of Google mapping and ZIP Net, the team located the mobile number of a missing girl near Srinagar airport.The team rushed to the spot.Meantime, their location was changed to Amritsar. Immediately, the team detoured to the later location and traced girls.

As per the directions of senior officers for tracing the missing/kidnapped children for noble cause, the team operated the task meticulously. On 05.10.2020, Smt. Reena visited PS Badarpur and reported that her son “Y” age 12 yrs was missing or kidnapped.

Soon after, a case FIR No. 460/2020 u/s 363 IPC was registered at PS Badarpur and search of the missing child was taken up. The team was deployed to trace the missing child and immediately swung into action.

The local intelligence was developed from his friends. Some of his close friends were taken in to confidence and they shared some valuable information. Concretely, it came into notice that he was last seen at Anand Vihar Railway station. Acting on to the clues received, the team raided at many places in Patna, Bihar.

Mr. Meena said, Strenuous efforts done during a period of nine months bore fruitful results and he was traced at a petrol pump in Budda Colony, Patna, Bihar. On enquiry, the child disclosed that there were so many family restrictions on him at home so he decided to live alone. The missing child was handed over to the concerned Investigation Officer for necessary action.
