Mohali district got the better of Patiala District in the four-day finals played at I.S. Bindra Cricket Stadium, PCA Mohali on the basis of first innings lead of 126 runs. Batting first Mohali Under 19 scored 390 in 152.1 overs. Their innings was bolstered by their opener Rushil Srivastava who scored a sedate century (109) off 207 balls with 15 boundaries. He was ably supported by Dushyant Singh (80) off 197 balls inclusive of 9 boundaries. Other notable contributions with the bat came from Jashanjot Singh (45) and JovanpreetSingh (35). For Patiala left arm spinner Emanjot Singh 4 for 100, Harjas Singh 2 for 116 and Abhinav Rao 2 for 61 were the main wicket takers.

Replying Patiala were bundled out for 264 in 108 overs with Skipper Harjas Singh leading the Patiala charge with a scintillating innings of 76 off 102 balls studded with 10 crisp boundaries and four lofty sixes. He was involved in a 63 runs partnership for the 6th wicket with Dhruv Rahul (42). For Mohali left arm spinner Harshdeep Singh 6 for 83, Himanshu 2 for 75 and Raghuvar Narang 2 for 33 were the main wicket takers.

Mohali in the second essay were bowled out for 260 in 109.3 overs. Jovanpreet Singh (65) with 11 boundaries and Aryan Bhatia (55) with 8 boundaries were the principal run getters for Mohali. They were involved in a fruitful 94 runs partnership for the 3rd wicket. For Patiala left arm spinner Emanjot Singh 4 for 59 and Abhinav Rao 3 for 48 were the main wicket takers.

Patiala in their second innings scored 34 for 2 in 3 overs before the match ended.

Mr. Puneet Bali, Honorary Secretary, PCA ,while addressing the players lauded their talent and exhorted them to sharpen their physical fitness. He gave away the Winners Trophy and a Cash Prize of Rs. 1,50,000/- to Mohali Team.

Mr. Deepak Sharma, CEO PCA gave away the Cash Prize of Rs.75,000/- to the Runners up team Patiala.
