Dr. H.R. Shah (Padma Shree) Chairman and CEO TV Asia have appointed her Bureau Chief for the states territories of Washington and Oregon. She will be covering community news, events, interviews and other assignments.
The network was founded in 1993 by legendary Indian movie star Amitabh Bachchan. In 1997, as part of a network restructuring effort H. R. Shah, a well-known entrepreneur, philanthropist and leader in the Indian Community, purchased TV Asia.
Under his leadership the channel has experienced tremendous growth by providing quality programming focused on the culture and traditions of the Indian community within the US.
