HCS AND ALLIED EXAMINATION: COPY-FREE AND FAIR : GOVT.

The Haryana Government has taken adequate measures to ensure a smooth, copy-free, and fair conduct of the HCS and Allied Examination scheduled for September 12, 2021. A total of 1,48,242 candidates will appear for this examination at 538 examination centres in 13 districts across the State.

This information was given in a meeting held here today under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary, Sh. Vijai Vardhan with the Deputy Commissioners regarding the conduct of the examination.

Sh. Vijai Vardhan directed that the District Deputy Commissioners would appoint Magistrates or Executive Magistrates in their districts. Joint team of magistrate and police will visit the examination centres set up in the districts and crosscheck the arrangements. Special care should be taken in order to ensure that there is no suspicious movement of any person or vehicle around any examination centre. Apart from this, special vigil should be kept on sensitive centres.

He also directed that the District Deputy Commissioner should appoint a nodal officer in his district for overall supervision of the examination. Apart from this, a coordinator should also be appointed who will ensure all other arrangements like rooms, seating arrangements, drinking water and toilets etc. in the examination centres.

In the meeting, ADGP, Law and Order, Sh. Navdeep Singh Virk directed the Superintendents of Police that checking should be done in the examination centres and its surrounding area and on the day of examination, special attention should be given to this fact that no large gathering should be allowed to gather outside the examination centres.

It was informed in the meeting that the candidates should go for the examination after carefully reading the instructions given by the commission. The exam will be held on September 12, 2021 in 2 shifts. The General Studies paper will be held from 10 am to 12 noon and the CSAT paper will be held from 3 pm to 5 pm. All the candidates should take special care of the time.

The Chairman of Haryana Public Service Commission, Sh. Alok Verma and Secretary of the Commission, Sh. Bhupinder Singh were present in the meeting.
