DELHI POLICE CRICKET CLUB WINS RADHE KRISHNA OPEN CRICKET LEAGUE, BEATS SAHGAL CRICKET CLUB BY ONE WICKET IN A THRILLING FINAL.

The weeks long tournament was played between 24 teams (all professional Clubs) from all over India.

In the final match played on Wednesday, Sahgal Cricket Club batted first and mustered 124 runs in 32.5 overs before getting all out. Shivam Singh scored 42 runs & Anmol Sharma made 32 runs, while Prashant Nagar bagged 4 wickets and Ravi and Kapil Dagar took 2 wickets apiece for DPCC.

In reply, Delhi Police Cricket Club scored required runs in 29.3 overs making 126 with one wicket to spare. Suraj Dhaka scored unbeaten 45 and was adjudged ‘Man of the Match’, while Sunil Sehwag scored 26.

For SCC, Delhi Ranji player Varun Sood took 4 wickets. Delhi Police team's Sunil Sehwag was adjudged as the ‘Man of the Series’, while SCC's Anmol Sharma (another Ranji player for Delhi) was declared ‘Best Batsman’.
