CHANDIGARH POLICE NABS TWO ACCUSED INVOLVE IN ATTEMPT TO MURDER BY HITTING TRAFFIC CONSTABLE

Chandigarh Police has achieved success by working out a blind attempt to murder case by arresting two motorcycle riders involved in the incident of deliberately hitting a traffic constable Harsh Kumar on 24.09.2021 at cycle track, Sector 46 side on 32/46 dividing road.

After constable Harsh Kumar was deliberately hit by motorcycle, he became unconscious and received multiple injuries including head injury.

The accused were coming wrong side on cycle track. A case FIR No. 154, dated 24.09.2021, U/S 307, 34 IPC added 332, 353 IPC Police Station 34 was registered and a special investigation team was formed to crack the case. During the investigation two accused namely Chirag S/o Mohinder Singh and Yuvraj S/o Aanand Pal Singh have been found involved in the crime. They have criminal record already in PS-34, UT Chandigarh as they were earlier arrested in separate attempt to murder cases.

During investigation of case accused Chirag S/o Mohinder Singh R/o H.No. 3898, Sec -47/D, Chandigarh was arrested on 28.09.2021 from Burail and accused Yuvraj S/o Aanand Pal Singh R/o H.No. 985/2, Vill Burail, Sec 45 Chandigarh was arrested on 29.09.2021 from Dehradun, Uttrakhand.

During investigation of case accused Chirag S/o Mohinder Singh R/o H.No. 3898, Sec -47/D, Chandigarh was arrested on 28.09.2021 from Burail and accused Yuvraj S/o Aanand Pal Singh R/o H.No. 985/2, Vill Burail, Sec 45 Chandigarh was arrested on 29.09.2021 from Dehradun, Uttrakhand.

Further during investigation, it has been found that accused Yuvraj is also involve in recently registered case FIR No. 156, dated 26.09.2021, U/S 323, 341, 354, 354D, 506 IPC PS -34 Chandigarh. Accused Chirag has been sent to judicial custody after one day Police remand and Yuvraj is on one day police remand. Further investigation is in progress.
