The National Student Union of India (NSUI) organized a candle march to demand justice for the innocent farmers killed in Lakhimpur Kheri.

The candle march of NSUI started from Raisina Road and ended at Jantar Mantar in which hundreds of workers took part.

The candle march was led by state president Kunal Sehrawat, and NSUI national general secretary Vishal Chaudhary, national secretary Varun Chaudhary and Vinod Jhakar were present.

Kunal Sehrawat said in his press statement that "In Lakhimpur Kheri, the son of BJP's Union Minister of State for Home had crushed innocent farmers with his car in which many of our farmer brothers have been killed. I am deeply concerned about this incident. On behalf of NSUI family, I express my condolences.

Farmers are our brothers, they are the country's food donors, if BJP people will attack them in such cowardly ways, then in front of whom will the farmers of this country keep their words?

Through this candle march, we request the Central Government to take the strictest action against those who attacked the farmers and the Union Minister of State for Home should also be sacked immediately and his son should be sent to jail as soon as possible and all the demands of the farmers should be accepted immediately.
