The Hindu Temple of Central Indiana Nomination Committee is inviting nominations for the Board of Trustees for the four-year term from 2022 to 2025 and the Executive Committee for the two-year term from 2022-2023.

For the Board of Trustees, the Bylaws require four members from the $10K-24K category, three members from the $25K-49K category, three from the $50K-99K category and three from the >$100K category.

For the 2022-2025 term, the following are the vacancies:

$10,000 - $24,999 - 1 position
$25,000 – $49,999 - 1 position
$50,000 – $99,999 - 1 position

In the event there is no nomination for election from a particular category, the Nominations Committee will recommend names for that category from the membership of the organization. Besides meeting the contribution criteria, each nominee for Trustee must be an Indiana resident; paid member of the organization as of September 30th 2021, be in good standing and possess strong beliefs in the goals and objectives of the organization.

In addition, the Nominations Committee is seeking nominations for the Executive Committee. The Board is seeking election for the following vacancies for the Executive committee:

Secretary
Treasurer
Joint Secretary/Treasurer
Priest Services & Religious Events Scheduling Committee Chair
Religious Event Coordination Committee Chair
Kitchen Committee Chair
Communication and Technology Committee Chair
Youth Activity and Education Committee Chair
Facilities Maintenance Committee Chair
Facilities Rental and Security Operations Committee Chair
Cultural and Membership Committee Chair

Members of the Executive Committee must be Indiana residents and be active members (current dues paid) of the organization as of September 30th 2021.

Candidates for President-Elect (Vice-President) position must be active members in good standing for at least two (2) years and should have been part of a committee for at least one year.
Candidates for Secretary, Treasurer, Joint Secretary/Treasurer and the Chairpersons of sub-committees in the

Executive committee must be active members in good standing for at least one (1) year and must have served in at least one of these sub-committees as a member for at least one year.
