The Guru Gobind Sahib Two-day National Style Kabaddi Cup competition organized on the occasion of Bandi Chhor Diwas at Gurdwara Sat Kartar Sahib, located at village 11G Harnia concluded with a pump and show on Sunday.

The winner in the competition was the team of Mohanpura village while the runner-up was the team of Lakhan Majra of Haryana. Rs 11 thousand to the winning team and 5100 to the runner-up and a glittering trophy was presented by the organisers.

At the closing ceremony, amazing tractor stunts were shown by the famous stunt man of Punjab.

Chief guest Swami Brahmdev, founder and director of Shree Jagdamba Andh Vidyalaya, while congratulating the winning and runner-up team, boosted the morale of the players and appealed to the youth to participate in such events. He said that more such competitions should be organized so that the youth should stay away from drugs.

Sewadar Jagsir Singh said that in this two-day Kabaddi competition, apart from Rajasthan, a total of 24 teams from Punjab and Haryana participated. Dr. Rajwinder Singh, Director of Sukhmani Homoeopathic Clinic, Peelibanga honoured the winners, while the runner-up team was given a cash prize of Rs 5100 by Jashandeep Singh Brar from Australia.

President of Chamber of Commerce Sriganganagar Banshidhar Jindal, President of Gurdwara Buddha Johad Balkaran Singh, Shivam Kohli of blind school family, Manjit Singh Khalsa, President of Gurdwara Sat Kartar Sahib, Baba Gursaheb Singh Happy, Sewadar Jagsir Singh, CP Brar, Lakhwinder were also present.
