DELHI EOW NABS ACCUSED OF SELLING TRUST PROPERTIES VALUING 15 CRORES BY IMPERSONATING AS SOLE OWNER IN MERELY 35 LACS

Economic Offences Wing (EOW) reported to have nabs the accused namely Mukesh Tulsian (59) S/O Late Radhey Shyam R/O Shalimar Bagh Delhi aged 59 years for selling a trust property in Chandni Chowk Delhi by impersonating himself as the sole owner of 15 properties of the Trust for the amount of Rs 35 Lakh. The market price of these properties is approximate 15 Crore.

Case was registered on complaint of Sh. Sharwan Agarwal R/O Greater kailash Delhi who stated that one Manoj Tulsian has sold 15 properties belonging to trust by impersonating himself as the sole owner and legal heir of Late Jamna Dass the founder of the trust for Rs 35 lakh. The market price of these properties is approximate 15 Crore.

Accused in police net
The case was registered at PS EOW vide FIR No. 74/21 dated 25.05.2021 U/s 409/420/120B IPC R/W 82 of Registration Act after proper enquiry.

After registration of the case, the investigation was taken up. During investigation role of accused Manoj Tulsian was ascertained.

Mr. R.K.Singh, IPS, Addl.Commissioner of Police, Economic Offences Wing, said, during course of investigation it was found that the trust in the name of “Tulsian Dharmshala trust” was created by Late Jamna Dass and there were five trustees in this trust. Late Sh. Radhey Shyam,the father of accused Manoj Tulsian was also the member of the trust and later on late Sh . Radhey Shyam become the managing trustee of the trust.

 

Mr. R.K.Singh, IPS, Addl.Commissioner of Police, Economic Offences Wing, said, during course of investigation it was found that the trust in the name of “Tulsian Dharmshala trust” was created by Late Jamna Dass and there were five trustees in this trust. Late Sh. Radhey Shyam,the father of accused Manoj Tulsian was also the member of the trust and later on late Sh . Radhey Shyam become the managing trustee of the trust.After the death of Late Radhey Shyam, Smt.Pushpa Devi W/O Late Radhey Shyam was appointed as Managing trustee in the general meeting on 14.08.1988. After the death of Smt. Pushpa devi the accused was appointed as managing trustee in the trust.

Pushpa devi the accused was appointed as managing trustee in the trust. There was a provision in the trust deed that no property of the trust can be handed over to anyone.

Despite this fact, accused impersonate himself the grandson of late Jamna Dass( founder of trust) and sold the property of trust for Rs 35 lakh. The market price of these properties is approximate 15 Crore. Hence the accused Mukesh Tulsian was arrested and further investigation is in progress.

A team comprising of Inspector Sanjay Kumar, SI Ritesh, Ct Anuj of Section–I EOW, under the close supervision of ACP Virender Sezwan and overall supervision of Mohd. Ali DCP/EOW was constituted to trace the accused person, who was evading his arrest.

MODUS OPERANDI:  Accused person hatched a criminal conspiracy to sell out trust properties i.e Shops situated at Nai Sarak Chandni Chowk, Delhi, values in Crores. Accused with connivance of other co-accused, prepared false and fabricated documents of the property claiming himself as owner.

During investigation it was revealed that the accused person was absconding since three months. After lot of efforts it was found that the accused Mukesh tulsian is residing somewhere in Shalimar Bagh Delhi. After pain taking efforts, accused Mukesh Tulsian was apprehanded and after interrogation he was arrested in this case. 

Accused Mukesh Tulsian is the main person who sold the trust properties by impersonating himself as the sole owner and legal heir of late Jamna Dass the founder of the trust. Further Investigation of the case is in progress.
