In the 3rd league match of the Mens U-25 State A Trophy (2021-2022) Match Played at Puducherry today Punjab U-25 won the toss and decided to field first . Rajasthan batting first were all out at 152 runs in 45.1 overs. They were helped in their cause by Bharat Sharma with 16 runs , Karan lamba scored 42 runs , Devesh Agarwal scored 27 runs and Hitesh Patel 15runs . For Punjab Ikjot Singh claimed 3 / 35, Gurnoor Singh Brar 3 / 37, Prerit Dutta 2 / 24, Abhinav Sharma 1 /27 and Prince Balwant Rai 1 / 28 were the main wicket takers.
Replying Punjab chased the target by scoring 153 runs for loss of 4 wickets in 34.4 overs and garnered 4 points while Rajasthan got zero. For Punjab Vishwanath Partap Singh scored 38 runs off 69 balls with help of 7 boundaries, Naman Dhir remained not out at 61 runs off 66 balls with help of 4 boundaries and 2 sixes, Ikjot Singh Thind scored 20 runs off 34 balls and Pukhraj Mann remained not out at 20 runs off 21 balls with 1 boundary and 1 six.. For Rajasthan Aakash Singh claimed 2/ 41, Rohit Khichar 1 / 23 and Manav Suthar 1 / 32 .
Punjab will now play their 4th match against Railways tomorrow i.e. on 25th Nov.,2021.
