Abohar: Swarnim Vijay Bike Rally, which was Flagged Off from Lakhpat Fort last week, was Flagged In at Konark War Memorial, Jodhpur by Lieutenant General P S Minhas, General Officer Commanding, Desert Corps.

The Bike Rally in the last four days has traversed through Bhuj, Gandhinagar and Udaipur and will further pass-through Jaisalmer covering a distance of 1495 kilometres to finally culminate at Laungewala.

Swarnim Vijay Bike Rally marks an apt tribute to the valour and sacrifices of the War Veterans who were instrumental in achieving the stellar victory of Indian Armed Forces over Pakistan Army. The Battle of Laungewala was one of the most important battles fought in the Western Frontier and was testimony to the surrender of 93,000 Pakistan soldiers, the biggest surrender post World War Il.

Post the Flagging In Ceremony the bike rally team interacted with the Veer Naris, Ex Service Man, War Veterans and students at Konark War Memorial.
