MOHALI ADMIN IMPOSED ADDITIONAL RESTRICTIONS , NIGHT CURFEW FROM 10 PM TO 5 AM,

In view of the new guidelines issued by the Punjab government to curb on the increase of covid  cases District Magistrate Mrs. Esha Kalia, has issued fresh orders to impose additional restrictions.

The orders said, all persons must wear masks in public places, including workplaces, etc., and this must be strictly observed and enforced. Social distance means there should always be a distance of at least 6 feet for all activities

As per the order, night curfew would be imposed within the district limits from 10.00 pm to 5.00 am during which the movement of persons for all non-essential activities would be restricted. However, essential activities such as conducting various shifts in industries, offices etc. (both public and private), transporting persons and goods on national and state highways and unloading of goods and persons after disembarking from buses, trains and trains. 

All educational institutions including schools, colleges, universities, coaching institutes etc. will remain closed. However, academic activities can be continued through online teaching from these institutions. Medical and nursing colleges may continue to operate normally.All bars, cinema halls, multiplexes, malls, restaurants, SPAs, museums, zoos, etc. will be allowed to operate at 50% of their capacity, provided that all existing staff are fully vaccinated.

In addition, under the upper limit of 50% of capacity 50 people will be allowed for indoor gatherings and 100 people will be allowed for outdoor gatherings.

All bars, cinema halls, multiplexes, malls, restaurants, SPAs, museums, zoos, etc. will be allowed to operate at 50% of their capacity, provided that all existing staff are fully vaccinated.

All sports complexes, stadiums, swimming pools, gyms will be closed (excluding the use of national / international sports competitions as well as training of athletes for organizing national / international sports events), but viewers will not be allowed.

Buses will run at 50% of capacity.Non-essential shops will only be open until 8.00 pm. However, shops dealing in essential commodities like food, medicine, milk and milk products, poultry etc will be exempted.
