The Central Bureau of Investigation has arrested an Assistant Sub Inspector Kuldeep Singh  posted at Police Station Sultanpuri, Delhi and a private person in a bribery case.

A case was registered on complaint against the Assistant Sub Inspector of Delhi Police, Police Station Sultanpuri, Delhi on the allegations of demanding bribe of Rs.40,000/- .

It was further alleged that the accused demanded bribe from Complainant Dheeraj Kumar for not arresting his brother & nephew in a separate case, earlier registered in Police Station Sultanpuri. It was also alleged that the accused directed the Complainant to handover the bribe to a tea vendor operating in front of said Police Station.

CBI laid a trap and caught the private person while accepting bribe of Rs. 20,000/- from the Complainant on the directions of said ASI. Searches were conducted at the premises of the accused.
