OXFORD STREET BRINGS RARE FEEL OF HIGH STREET IN REGION, TOP BRANDS ENGAGED IN FIT-OUTS

In what is set to give a big boost to tricity’s economy and business ambience, Oxford Street has become a most sought after avenue for top global and national brands. The region’s first high street – a focal point for retailing – Oxford Street, offers the feel of a high street akin to those which exist in the United Kingdom. 

A flagship project of Royal Estate Group (REG), which has been able to rope in all major brands and even Unicorns will soon be abuzz with business activities as the occupants are currently doing fit outs. “Presently, 15 brands are engaged in fit outs, while 10 others are in the pipeline,” said Piyush Kansal, Director, REG.

According to Piyush, instead of raising false hopes of fixed rentals or PMI(per month income) schemes, REG liaised directly for leasing with leading brands for giving business space, which ensured an assured monthly income to investors. “Business space at Oxford Street offers SCO floors, showrooms, etc, which offer value to every penny of the investor. What's more, in case an investor goes for an SCO floor he or she will get a free trip to London for 6 days and 7 nights,” summed up Piyush Kansal .

Some of the brands in Oxford Street that are in fit-out stage are Tata-Zudio, Reliance SMART, in clothing there's Jockey, Numero Uno. In the startup space there's the renowned unicorn Spinny. Barista, Brew Estate, La Pino'z in food and beverages are also conducting fit-outs.  SkyJumper Sports & Amusements Pvt. Ltd, and Tress Lounge also have taken up space. “From the first week of April, Oxford Street will start giving the feel of an international level high street to its visitors,” added Piyush.

Located strategically in  Zirakpur, Oxford Street is revolutionizing the brand leasing space concept, which was so far popular only in the Western market. “The concept of zoning has been adopted at Oxford Street where need based construction was done. For example, a food court space has its own dedicated services area and exhausting utilities,” informed Piyush Kansal.

“Similarly, retail brands have been provided with business space with all relevant utilities of service area and office space equipped with facilities like common reception, meeting rooms, and so on. It’s designed on lines of a European styled organised high street, where shoppers, office goers and clients can enjoy with friends in a beautifully designed 2.5 acre courtyard, fitness centre, restaurants, and so on,” Piyush further said.
