Haryana Aspiring Assistant Professors Association declared war against gross injustice towards their recruitment by Haryana Govt .
On Monday at Haryana Mini Secretariat, Additional Chief Secretary, Chandigarh was handed over a memorandum in the name of CM Haryana, before that a memorandum was also submitted to the Director Higher Education., also At the residence of Chief Minister Khattar, his OSD Bhupeshwar Dayal was also handed over a memorandum in the name of CM.
There has been a demand to get the CBI or High Power Independent Agency investigated for fake degrees / wrong selection and appointments / wrong adjustment / recruitment of ineligible extension lecturers in various government colleges of Haryana and immediately remove them and make regular appointments.
About 80 members of the association were present in the silent procession, in which Dr Deepak, Professor Subhash Sapra, Gaurav, Ravin, Pradeep Sushil, RK Jangra, Anil Ahlawat, Bijendra Singh, Sanjeev, Ankit Bamal, Rakesh Kumar, Aman Mandra and other colleagues were present.
People who exposed the unqualified extension lecturers recruitment scam in various colleges of the state on Monday submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister of the state, Manohar Lal. Have demanded a CBI or High Power Independent Agency to investigate and remove them immediately and make regular appointments.
It was highlighted through the memorandum that the work load of Assistant Professor is always there in various schools of the state. In this context, through a letter issued by the Higher Education Department, Haryana on June 5, 2013, orders were given to the promotions for the appointment of extension lecturers at the rate of Rs 200 per period (maximum Rs 18 thousand per month) in various colleges of the state. For this, the preachers and staff, in connivance with their will, started hiring non-qualified and non-eligible extension lecturers by making fraud in these recruitments by nepotizing their acquaintances and nepotism. Gradually their number kept on increasing.
The prevalence of fake PhD degrees obtained by them from private universities increased and wrongly selection and appointments started. Nepotism and corruption also started getting encouraged more rapidly. Due to the indifferent attitude of the government and the negligence of the Higher Education Department, the number of these extension lecturers reached thousands. They started protesting against the government on the road and gradually started getting their demands from the government. On 20 July 2017, his salary was increased from ₹ 18000 per annum to ₹ 25000.It was highlighted through the memorandum that the work load of Assistant Professor is always there in various schools of the state. In October 2019, immediately before the Haryana Assembly elections, the government was pressurized for Equal Work Equal Pay and came out on the streets. They started burning effigies of Chief Minister, Education Minister and officials in all the cities and also boycotted the examinations. In view of the elections, the Haryana government had to bow down to them and their monthly salary was Rs 57700 per eligible and Rs 35400 per month as non-eligible.
After this, those who left their jobs here and there on their own volition, they all came back with the connivance of the preachers and staff and started adjusting in the colleges. Like potato-tomato from a private university, he started getting fake PhD degrees and started taking Rs 57700 statue. In all this, the employees of the Higher Education Department, Haryana also got involved and corruption started to dominate badly. Victims and fresh well-qualified youths kept rubbing their hands while sitting in their homes. After that, many times the government removed the non-eligible candidates, but with the connivance of the higher education department and colleges and many times these one eligible candidates were called back on the orders of the Hon'ble Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh.
The Higher Education Department, Haryana, adopting a neutral attitude, did not advocate properly in the Hon'ble Punjab and Haryana High Court. Well qualified NET PhD youth is facing the brunt of all the above. It is worth noting that just a few days ago, Deepak Kumar, HC, Joint Director, Admin and Sukhwinder Singh, Deputy Director Higher Education, Haryana, went to the place of strike/demonstration/demonstration/arrests and broke their fast unto death. We have assured that we are fulfilling their demands. Which is absolutely wrong, it means that by adopting heinous acts and tactics, they create pressure on the government and are making their work successful. Which is quite despicable. Therefore, their demand should not be considered in any way.
It was also informed in the released release that in March 2020, the Higher Education Department, Haryana had approved new appointments for the posts of 2592 Assistant Professors. But this file is still buried.
The reality is that about a year ago, the Higher Education Department, Haryana had given orders to the principals of the colleges to investigate the fake degrees of the above extension lecturers in private universities. Its report also got suppressed till date with the connivance of the principal and the employees of the department. That is, one thief was investigating another thief, so he was suppressed.
It is that now once again Memo No. 22/80-2020 C1(5), on 08 February 2022, the Higher Education Department, Haryana has issued orders to the Principal to investigate the fake degrees by identifying 5 private universities obtained by working extension lecturers. Which is absolutely wrong because these working extension lecturers have been appointed by these preachers and staff.
It is that Working Extension Lecturers have once again taken to the streets to save themselves to stop the recruitment of Regular Assistant Professor Professor and for their employment security and are now again taking recourse to the leaders of the opposition political parties and Haryana Badly defaming the government. They are raising slogans and giving big warnings against the Chief Minister, Education Minister and senior officials of the Higher Education Department.
Along with this, he urged the Chief Minister that the degrees, wrong selection and appointments/ wrong adjustments/eligible lecturers received by the above working extension lecturers from private universities should not be investigated by the college principals, but by CBI or High Power Independent Agency, So that the milk of milk becomes water of water, because this recruitment scam has been done by the professors and staff of the Higher Education Department of various colleges. So they won't let it happen properly.
