Vishvas Foundation, Shri Mata Mansa Devi Shrine Board and Indian Red Cross Society District Branch Panchkula organized a blood donation camp in front of Bhairon temple in Mata Mansa Devi complex on Sunday.

General Secretary of Vishvas Foundation Sadhvi Neelima Vishvas said that the team of Blood Bank Panchkula Welfare Trust collected 40 units of blood under the supervision of Dr. Shruti Singla. The camp lasted from 10 am to 3 pm.

There is a misconception among people that donating blood causes weakness in the body. There is no weakness due to blood donation, rather everyone must donate blood once in 90 days. It helps the needy as well as keeps the body healthy. A virtuous act like donating blood comes in the greatest service.

All the blood donors who came to this blood donation camp were encouraged by giving appreciation letters, masks, soaps & gifts. Avinash Sharma, Versha Sharma, Savita Sahni and other dignitaries were also present on this occasion from Vishvas Foundation.
