Ingredients required
2cups wheat flour
1/3 cup coarse roasted gram/chana powder
1.5 cup ghee/clarified butter
1/2 cup edible gum/gond
1 cup mix dryfruits (Almonds, Cashew, Pista)
2Tbsp melon seeds
2Tbsp Raisins
1.5 cup jaggery powder
1tsp green cardamom powder
1/2 tsp black cardamom powder
Steps
1.Heat ghee in a pan & fry edible gum on medium low flame
2.Chop dry fruits and fry them raisins & muskmelon seeds to be fried separately
3.Make a coarse powder of dry fruits raisins & melon seeds to be added intact
4.Keep this aside now pour in all the ghee in heavy bottom pan & start toasting wheat flour add roasted chana powder also, process involves a good time but truly worth.
5.Once the color changes and wheat flour looks like a sandy texture with ghee oozing out it’s done
6.Allow it to cool add black cardamom & green cardamom powder
7.Add jaggery powder dry fruits powdered efible gum melon seeds raisins and mix everything well so that binding becomes easy
8.Make pinni of desired shape & enjoy
