It may be recalled that this this case of road rage is from the year 1988 A reconsideration petition was filed in the Supreme Court on behalf of the aggrieved party regarding this matter which was constantly being heard in the Supreme Court In the last several hearings, Sidhu has been getting relief from the Supreme Court, but now the Supreme Court has slammed Sidhu.

whole case is of December 1988, when Sidhu had a scuffle with an old man on the road in Patiala It is said that there was an altercation and after that the old man died Whereas, in this case again Patiala police had registered a case of unintentional murder against Sidhu. The case was first heard in the lower court From where Sidhu was acquitted, but when the case reached the High Court, the Punjab and Haryana High Court had in 2006 sentenced Sidhu to three years in the case. Sidhu was then a BJP MP from Amritsar. After the sentence, Sidhu had to resign At the same time, Sidhu had challenged the decision of the High Court in the Supreme Court.

Navjot Singh Sidhu had also appealed to the Supreme Court that the revision petition in this case should be rejected now. Guru had appealed to the Supreme Court saying that I request the Supreme Court to dismiss the revision petition in the Road Rage Case against him. Sidhu said that in this case, the reconsideration petition is no longer admissible.
